I've been looking for some nice Blue Mountain jasper. Some months ago, I bought a thick slab that I split from orerockon from a picture and it was very nice. The usual way they sell is $1 a square inch. I've exchanged emails and the seller is unwilling to take pictures.
I put in an order through paypal for 50 sqin. I then sent an email asking for good cabbing material, not display slab material. It will be interesting if I get a reply and what I get. There are no decent slabs on Etsy or ebay and Paul said rough is a big gamble. I hate making blind purchases.
