I think they should change your status to "Rock God!! Those are spectacular, I really like Brazilian agates too - I've got a bit of all those kinds that you have there, but mine are nowhere near as nice as yours *sigh*

That is one excelent job you did on those agates!!
Most people don't rough Brazilian agate long enough to get rid of the fractures caused when the rough is broken up and as you said it seemed like forever but it's well worth the wait!!
The shine is A+A+A+A+
FANTASTIC!!

Amazing, it's so cool to see how the different colors, clear or banded that you can get with the Brazilian agates. You outdid yourself with these batches. Only one problem for me, I was so hoping to see a close-up of that swirly one in the first pic of batch 3, that's too cool. Are you sure you didn't slip in a piece of pet wood?

Aw shucks, you guys flatter me (but I like it, I like it!) The recipe on these was: 60/90, a million years (okay, really 6-8 weeks for most stones, 10 weeks or longer for a few) 120/220, 1 week 500F, 2 weeks CPP polish, 1.5 weeks That swirly stone was a bit odd. A couple times I saw it when cleaning a load out and wondered how I got pet.wood in there. But the other side is the same clear agate as the rest of the load (you can see it overturned in the top-right of the third pic), this just had a very odd exterior. By popular demand, here's a close-up (maybe not the sharpest pic, but I'm pushing my camera past its limits here):

OMG That is just awesome. Totally incredible the way the banding turned out on that piece. Thanks for doing the close-up, if you don't have any special plans for that piece let me know. *smile*

Okay, here's my opinion.VERRRRRRRY AWESOME on all four types. I like #4 the best. I've cut alot of brazilian agates and I've found the bluish ones to be my favs, although I love them all. Your patience has done wonders for bringing out the beauty of these stones, and you are held in high regard in my eyes. (Could you send me a little of your patience, please?)
Excellent work,
Ed

Ooops, I guess I'm a bit slow responding to these latest comments, I've been off the board for a bit.
Cher, sorry, this guy made it into my "favourites" pile. But if I do decide to give it away some day, it's yours.
Ed, you sound like you are really be up on your Brazilian agates, guess you are our resident Brazilian agate expert! ... thanks for giving me such a good grade! Sorry I don't have any patience to pass on to you... I used it all up on these darned things ;D
Tami, I love the avatar (sp?)... is that a tornado pic you shot yourself?
