Northwest Ohio

Well apparently I joined this forum awhile back, but I don’t believe I ever posted or used it. Anyway my name is Bob and I am from Northwest Ohio. I live in Van Wert County Ohio. I love rocks! Rocks, crystals, gyms, geodes, fossils, arrowheads and artifacts. I am not very knowledgeable on rock identification. If I see it and I like it, I pick it up. I have jars upon jars upon jars upon boxes upon barrels of rocks I’ve picked up over the years. Anyway I am 50 years old. The county I live in used to be under a swamp. The great black swamp covered almost everything around here. I am looking for like-minded people who might be willing to go out searching for rocks or arrowheads or whatever. I don’t have many friends who are into the same hobby, so I guess I’m looking for new friends and new places to search. There’s not a lot around here, but if anybody knows of specific places in Northwest Ohio that have been productive, or anyone with anything to teach me, or even just someone who is also unknowledgeable about things but wants a hunting/digging partner, let me know.

PS I also love to explore new places, abandon buildings, old homesites, and would really love to learn how to dig privy sites. I love all bottles too!
