The fires are still going strong, and our skies often remind me of this piece of Golden Picture Jasper:

We are maybe not THAT brown anymore, but it ain't pretty. We have lost the equivalent of a little bit more than the State of Rhode Island, in terms of area burned, and fire season is still young.

Similar, but when it has "sky," it is more of a graphite gray. The seller says it is from Nevada (Humboldt Co).
