Found a small piece of what I am pretty sure is Pom Pom Agate from Needle Peak in the Big Bend of Texas. This was part of the stash I have been buying from an old collector. Got 10 slabs out of the rock and the Pom Poms were better than I expected. The biggest slab is 3 inches by 2 inches. victor1941, told you I would finally get some pictures posted!!

Those pieces look like really good pom pom that should polish well. The dark rock matrix looks like my material.If you go to my Flickr photostream.com Victor 1941 you can see some slices of Needle Peak pom pom that I am now working. You will also see other material that I collected.
