Here is what my Titanium polish barrel yielded up today. This is some Petrified Wood, some Jelly Bean Jasper, Picture Jasper and some Fossil Agate. I'll label them as we go along so as not to confuse the viewers. Size reference, using the tried and true 'Paper Plate method'- Closer of the same- A few pieces of Petrified Wood with a Plume Agate- Jelly Bean Jasper- Fossil Agate- I don't know where this came from Picture Jasper Blue Mustang, and Wild horse- This is more 'Wild Horse' looking- Blue Mustang- Then of corse there are the various 'shnipples' that i didn't photograph because it was 'one of these, two of those', you know. Thanks for looking! -Banjo

Those look great. Real nice shine.
I was going to post pics of the batch I just took out of medium but they look kinda sad compared to yours. One of these days I hopefully will have some all the way polished.

Ooooo nice looking stuff! I love that Blue Mustang, the blue is just gorgeous. The pet wood is really beautiful, that turned out really nice. Oh and the Jellybean Jasper *sigh* darn I've been saving the stuff you sent me until I can get a saw but I don't know ... I might have to whack it now. I have a question though about that paper plate reference for size ... is that an 8 inch plate or a 10 inch? LOL Just kidding ... just giving you some grief ... ;D You know if I don't, Stefan or Gaetz probably will. *smile* Cher

believe it or not, the standard paper plate is nine inches, give or take a millimeter. ( : great job on all of those, Banjo, very excellent shine! KD

Great job, Banjo! As always I've got some (some hell, 10 lbs.) of pet wood nearing polish now. Or at least 3# of it is in the vibe burnishing to go to polish. I have been using CO as a polish for so long now, and I ran this wood in coarse for so long, if I don't get that kind of finish, I'm switching to Titanium. I have that jelly bean agate I got from you as a specimen rock, but I'm getting itchy to break it after looking at yours;). cookie

Nice looking stones Banjo, as usual. That picture jasper takes a nice shine. I was going to slab the pieces you sent me, but after seeing yours, maybe I'll tumble some to. Great job man

Here is a link- www.gemkoi.com/products/rough/sandagate.htmFossil Agate is sometimes called 'Sand Agate' because of all of the small particles suspended in the clear to white agate. It is agatized plant and animal material formed from what would collect in the bottom of a pond, bog or forest floor. They say that it is older than petrified wood, but went through the same process as petrified wood, that is, of the material being replaced with silica and agatizing. It fractures fairly easily so that is why it is ideal for tumbling. I have been able to get a few slabs from it, and they polish up quite well. That is all I know. -Banjo
