Hi yall, Ok just got back about two hours agao from the mine again. We found a rock, pretty cool looking and I kind of need help with it. Its silver in colour. Not sure if its lead, or silver. Could anyone please help?

Take a pin or something else sharp and try to bend the flecks- If they bend it is a metal- if it flecks apart or crumbles then it is probably mica or some other mineral- Very unlikly silver as it tends to tarnich (oxidize) rapidly- could be Gallena (lead ore) or some other metal!

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite
