The only thing I can think about the Phantom Amethyst is that it is banded, and has phantom colors in it. Tami

Tami those are great - the amazonite - I have something similar, i thought it was green calcite - love it - especially love the amethyst - I'm a sucker for purple! And that Dentritic agate is wonderful! - I noticed that you placed them alphabetically - nice touch!

You did well Tami! You not only cashed in on a good sale, but bought some really neat stones. Some of them I have never heard of. Cool!

Are those from the Wichita store? Just recently heard of them, and am wondering if I should stop by there sometime when I'm in the area.
Those really are great rocks!

Yes kurocks that is the shop in Wichita, if you are going to go I would go as soon and as often as you can, because they are going to remain open until the building sells. They are not open on Sunday and close at 6:00p.m. on Saturday. Once the building sells the owner will be doing mail order you can get a catalog sent to you. Their toll free number is 877-323-7765. The owner has several warhouses full of supplies and rocks, I just don't think they are putting more on the shelves. The last time I was there they really didn't have much grit left, didn't have any lapidary equipment, but they did have alot of rocks and they had quite a few grinder wheels and pads. Tami

That's interesting! I found them by Googling their name, after I bought a bag of their grit at a local store. I ordered catalogs, but don't have them yet. It's too bad they're closing the store .... it would be more fun to visit and pick out rocks in person!
