I totally agree with Pinolith and Indian Paint stone, yes the Pinolith is a pain, DON'T DROP it lol! Your photography is showing fantastic detail on the cabs but the wood background is distracting. A pretty background but distracting Thanks for the advice Julie, maybe I'll try something different for a background next time... As to be expected, one day in the vibe wasn't very nice to the paint stone and the pinolith. Oh well, live and learn! 😁

Yeah live and learn. I got an ultrasonic cleaner to help get the drusy vugs on agates clean. I was so excited after it worked on a cab that I put about 5 others in it and then ripped the surface off a number of softer materials. OOPS.

Here's what happened to the Indian Paint Stone after one day. I'm not throwing it in the tumbler again. But you know what, I kind of like the way it looks, undercutting and all!
