The Blue Mountain is a great example of a display slab and should not be cut up.

Wow. I like them all. Please excuse my ignorance on the subject, but how thick do you typically slice a display slab and what is a good overall size for one?

Wow! Great looking slabs! The blue mountain is my favorite, but the grassy mountain pet wood is up there too! All great display specimens.

Wow. I like them all. Please excuse my ignorance on the subject, but how thick do you typically slice a display slab and what is a good overall size for one? on the thickness it all depends on how stable the material is on the big ones i will be 1/2 inch and up so for instance the blue mountain is 6x4x.25 its very stable the crazy lace at 8x6 is .50 thick hope that helps
