I found this comment interesting in the link Mark provided:
This beautiful Zebra Stone is becoming very rare as mining deposits are now too deep to extract economically. With the proposed raising of the Lake Argyle Dam water levels in a few years all the remaining deposits of fine banded Zebra Stone will be permanently under water.
