I saw a mountain scene in this plasma agate cab. The sun in the upper left corner, the sky, a snow covered mountain in the middle, grass and trees below...that's why it's upside down. However I struggled a bit figuring out how to wrap it- upside down triangles aren't easy! Thanks for looking!

I think that you did just fine, Mike. Leaving the two corners exposed on the top really emphasizes your landscape image.

I like the concept of the wrap very much.
Triangles are so tricky because if you don't have symmetry on them, it makes them look off. That's what happened on your wrap, Mike. If you would have made the bindings symmetrical on the bottom point, that would have allowed you to make those 2 wire pulls symmetrical and it would have been awesome.
Triangles are really hard to wrap and I give you big credit for even attempting one!

Not sure why point down is upside down. I haven’t started wrapping, but when I attach triangles to a bail, it is almost always point down.
With your scene contains a sun, especially, it is definitely right side up, from what I see.
As far as asymmetry goes... I like it.

I'm a big fan of asymmetry, too- but I do like when others are able to achieve symmetry. It's just not me.

Maybe not your best, but not your worst, either. I agree with Robin. You really have to be mindful of symmetry with triangles. I have done them like that before. They worked out because every part was in sync.

I agree with Robin too. It looks ok, just not your best wrap. Brave man wrapping a triangle, gotta give you credit for that. ;-)

Gotta say I love the "landscape" image in that stone!

I like it! I think it looks tribal Native American Indian or something. It's perfect. I like the wire wraps are in a different color than the frame wire too. I might have to make some cabs like this some time to try it out.
