Good day! Let’s kick off fall with another contest. Slab pics are donated by rockjunquie , we have two smaller slabs of Gem Chrysocolla and they are amazing. Thank you Tela!

To play, just print or download the photo and mark out the cab shape of your choice, then post it in this thread.

{Cab That Slab Rules}
Cab That Slab is a contest of imagination and skill, finding a great cab in the given slab.
Here are a few simple rules for the contest.

Entries should be (estimated) 50 mm or less to leave room for others.

The shape needs to be simple enough to create with wheels, i.e. a cabochon, not intarsia.

Contest winner will choose a worthy slab picture, and (optional) prize, for the next contest.

Your entry may overlap a previous entry, but needs to have a new central idea or focus.

Be creative and have fun!

The rustling leaves say there will be another nice prize, provided by RocksInNJ , to the lucky winner of this contest. Thanks Bill!

So let’s do this! Entries will close at 5 pm CDT Friday, Sept 25. Good luck to everyone and please stay safe out there!

A very blurry cab.

I found a creature that my 1400's ancestors were friends with. His name is Brigtsen. Part of my ancestor's last name. He was a Reindeer in Norway.
