That blocky chunk of material with the blue/green band shown near the top of the first photo is Gunnery Point Picture Jasper from Arizona. The source is located on a U.S. military bombing range near Yuma. The public is not allowed to collect there anymore and hasn't been allowed to for over 50 years. A very scarce and hard to find in the rough these days. I found some in a collection a few years back and RTH members rykk and Sabre52 identified it for me.

Hi Mark, I make it a point to not meddle in member sales threads and it is perfectly within your rights to make changes to unsold offerings, but my suggestion (and it's just a suggestion) would be to update the photos to not show the piece that was removed.

At the rate at which items sell here on the forum I personally have a bad habit of looking at the first thread then going straight to commenting SOLD! The potential to miss a major mid-thread change like this is very high.
