That’s a cool piece I like how there are green bands going through the purple mountains and bubbles in the lower left. Fire agates are definitely a time consuming stone to finish but the rewards are well worth the efforts in the end
Apparently I don’t have the patience it takes to finish a stone.
Are the purples, reds rare or uncommon colors in fire agate. I have a couple stones with gold colors I need to work on someday one of them is almost metallic gold in color

Beautifully done. Did you consider slicing it at the constriction and cutting two smaller stones?
