i like that blue/grey band agate and the imperial. those turritella are buggers. they will come around and are beautiful finished. it took me about 9 mos to get them to the finish line. i just let them keep rolling in 60/90 until they behaved.

i like them all too, but that imperial jasper is outstanding. i must admit, i'm with lotarocks when it comes to the genie. although my tumblers haven't stopped, i haven't been taking the time to feed them top quality rocks either. i know i should be out whacking rocks right now, i got some big chunkers that won't fit in the saw.
hmmm, maybe i'll just sit here in the AC and cruise the Rockshed webpage instead.........

I tell you what I wasn't for sure what to expect when I ordered the Imperial Jasper, because the picture definitely didn't look as good as the actual product. It is definitely prettier in person than it was in the picture The Rock Shed had. I have a feeling that is is going to be georgous when I get is polished up. Tami

I think I might be putting some of that in my next batch after my apache tear is finished with the 60/90 barrel. Tami

I have been working on the imperial jasper for the last month and a half. About another week and a half and it will be coming out of the polish, but from what I've seen it is going to be awesome. I added it to a batch of petrified wood I bought from Banjo. I’ll post some pics of it and other stone I’ve polished when this batch is done.

I was so tempted to buy some of that stuff when we were at the Rock Shed in real life. Shawn pretty much talked me out of it considering the massive amounts of rocks I'd already picked up and this was only at the beginning of the trip. The car situation was gonna get scary plus when would I ever have time?

I've got more rocks than I can tumble in 2 years, but hey it's not like they are going to go bad or anything. When I see something I really like or come across a great deal I get it. It'll set around until I get a chance to work with it. They have all been waiting millions of years to meet me so a few more till I get time to fix them up isn't going to hurt.

HAHAHA A Genie- is the excalibur of the Cabbing world- the ultimate cabbing unit- you can go from rough slab to finished cabochet (did I get the word right doc?) in about 20 miniutes! basically it is a set of grinding wheels for rocks-
