I try to break up my work sessions for a set of cabs into two days. These all had issues and I didn't want to wait to deal with them. 1.The first Morgan Hill had a vug caused my metal in the stone. I couldn't recut so I finished. 2. The second Morgan Hill was a thin uneven slab. It has some minor problems that can't be fixed anymore. 3. Willow Creek from an uneven slab which made doming more complicated. 4. Blue Mountain with crud. It ended up better than expected despite the bottomless pit in the top middle. 5. Rhodochrosite. 6. Morgan Hill

When I buy slabs, I look for color, pattern and clean. Blue Mountain can have crud which is not attractive. This slab was part of a blind parcel and the crud was on both sides. It's rare when a cab looks cleaner than the slab.

That bottom Moragn Hill is a real Looker! I also like the striped triangle.
