Well thanks. I used Cerium Oxide Polish. It seems to work the best for me. Roger beautiful banding on that blue lace, looks like ice cubes. the mex is still my favorite tho. what kind of polish are you using, Roger? KD

I like CO on agates as well. Doesn't seem to be popular but I get great results with it on really hard stones. Yep, I'm a sucker for the blue lace. Great job. Can you tell us your whole recipe?

Well my recipe is 4 weeks in 60 90 grit. Recharging every 7 days. Well this is were the recipe is a little different. 4 weeks in 220 220 grit because I got very busy and did not have time to change to the nexed grit. So I thought since it has gone for 4 weeks in the fine grit I would skip the 500 grit and go on to the 1000 grit aluminum oxide for one week. Then one week in CO. I seemed to work great. it mite be my best bach. Roger I like CO on agates as well. Doesn't seem to be popular but I get great results with it on really hard stones. Yep, I'm a sucker for the blue lace. Great job. Can you tell us your whole recipe? cookie

Very nice. I think you did right to skip the 500 and go straight to 1000. I really like the blue lace also. Cal(Redwoodrocks) was telling me how they mine the blue lace, but I can't remember all the details. Maybe if he sees this post he'll enlighten everyone.
