Mel - did this end up working out for you? Interested to know what combination of equipment ended up working.

agatewhisperer - I have yet to find time or space to do much of anything hobby related except collect equipment right now. I'm really only able to hang out here and bother people because of downtime at my day job I used the included cylinder bit head to do some sanding on smaller stones, and it worked pretty nicely, but haven't gotten to use the groover yet.

Well the bits came today.... except with my grinder (Inland WizlingCG), the diameter of the diamond edge is too big. The plastic bracket holding the sponge in place rubs on the bit. Looks like I need to buy a different bracket. What a week. Not a single thing has worked right. (Later edited because I should not be allowed to try and use tools without tea and a good sleep. The bit fits fine upon closer examination, I just had the bitsert reversed). Good luck with the grooves. Make sure you use some waste material the first few times. I ruined some good rock on my first few.
