I picked this up at the Gem and Mineral show down at Agate Days in Moose Lake, Minnesota today. The two pieces weigh just over 2 pounds. Thanks for looking, sorry for the crappy pics. Cher

Nope, I got a bucket (5 lb bucket about 1/2 full) of lakers but am too tired to even look at them to see what they are like. There's a few nice sized ones in there, a few that you don't know till you cut them and quite a lot of smaller tumbling size (1/2 to 1 inch). I almost bought a chunk of Austrailan Mookite but couldn't justify the $$ ... it was gorgeous though.

Brian (rockman69) was very busy so didn't really get to talk to him. Did get to see his 6+ pound Laker and even got to hold it. It was awesome. Warren got some pics, I posted in the general forum about the day, it was fun.

I couldn't pass up that moss agate either. I ended up getting a lot of the smaller pieces though, since I bought so much other stuff that needs slabbing. Got as much as I could carry in my two hands. Would have got more but my darn husband disappeared so I couldn't load him up too. I think he planned it that way.

I almost wish I had gone down today instead, I'll bet there's a ton of slabs going cheap cheap cheap.

Me too Rich, I'm always looking for greens and reds too. I've got some gorgeous stuff in the barrels now from this big ol' chunk of ?? that I picked up in a gravel pit. It's green and yellow and so far seems like it's going to have a really nice shine. I was kind of sick over it after I whacked it to pieces when I saw how nice it was inside. I'm thinking it's maybe unikite as there's a few tiny spots of pink here and there in it but it's mostly yellow and green. I took some pics but the dang batteries went dead before I could download them. I'll post them later. Cher
