this kinda feels like cheating, but i had to experiment with some of the stuff that Rio Grande offered in the way of die struck, pre fab mountings. here are my first three finished: (without flash) (with flash) i've posted these cabs before, but they have been sitting there at the end of the production line waiting for me to fire up the torch and i just haven't done it!! this is the plume agate in a cinch mount: and i think Bear identified this as flame agate (also in a cinch mount): doesn't show the nice red bits unfortunately, but it very cool stone when backlit. the other stone is porcelain jasper in a bezel mount. thanks for looking! Those look great! Now just add a piece of wire to the next one and make the first hybrid wirewrap. Innovation is not cheating! Joe

All three look great KD. I especially love those plumes. That's no more cheating than rock tumbling is. The REAL way is throw it on the beach and wait for 10,000 years. I like them and would wear any one of them, I don't care how they were made.

KD too cool- Hmmm I think (if I ever learn) I could probably handle something like that! No tourches (house fires) no solder (burnt fingers, arm hairs, eyebrows, work benches, no silver stock (expensive messy divorce) just cool necklaces for the missus (don't need to tell you what that means) Is tha Plume agate from Banjo? It looks like the stuff I got from him (yellow plumes with some nice red accents) very nice!

Those are really nice, I think you did a great job and don't consider that cheating. After all, you did make the cabs didn't you? I like that plume agate, it's great.

I really like the idea that you can do the rock work and the settings are ready to go! Great job!
