When I first started, I used to move my pics to cds to save room on my hard drive (remember those days?). Worked great until one of my tennie boppers decided to write over my cds. Boy was I PISSED! As a result, I don't have a lot left and of what I do have are small. The originals are gone.
If I have posted these before, sorry- I couldn't remember what I had and had not.
Here is the oldest pic I have. It makes me sad, too. This was my first "sale"- to family. This was a cool shell fragment she found and wanted wrapped as a momentum of her time at the beach. Sadly, this was stolen from her luggage at the airport. This is the only jacked up picture that I have.
Next is a set that I tried scanning to get a better picture. Back in the day, I had an old HP digital. One of the early ones. I forget how many pixels, but it was an awful camera. Pau shell. My Dad's cousin came out for a visit from CA. We hit it off right away. She wanted a cameo wrapped. I collected them at the time and had many to choose from. For whatever reason, she chose this student cameo. Ugh. The wrap came out nice, though.
The rest are some early ones in no particular order. I wish I had more of the really early ones....
Wish I still had this turquoise!
A composite gem of onyx and rhodonite.
lapis
garnet and rhodochrosite
A really fabulous shell cameo- wish I still had this, too, but it did fetch over 600 at auction.
leoprdskin jasper
not sure of the picturestone, but I love it!
Sagenite- classic example of if I could go back in time and just cut that wire on the front!
big citrine
picasso jasper
seraphinite
some kind of flame agate- I left it raw.
2 stone pendant for a contest I won.
amethyst and friends
gorgeous chrysocolla of some type.and a large blue topaz. Thanks for looking- next up will be a few newer ones.

Is the serphinite gold filled or bright copper? Gold fill. I used to use gold fill exclusively. It was really cheap then.

That is the nicest Leopardskin jewel I've ever seen, but IMO you topped it with the raw-edged Flame agate.

Great post. Hard to pick one but that wrap on the seraphinite is so cool. Chuck Thanks! I wouldn't be able to afford all that gold now! LOL! I have not bought any silver since before covid hit. Just checked RIO and it looks like that went up 25 to 30 percent too. I have never kept track of gold but I have heard it is skyrocketing. Chuck

Chuck Last I looked, silver was coming back down. It's at 24 now. The last time I ordered silver sheets and wire from Rio was August of 2019 and it was about $17 or $18 at that time. I still have a decent amount left but it is a gamble as far as when to stock up. Chuck

Those are all one length of wire. Really one length of wire So I need to know because curiosity killed the cat How many feet of wire was that one length and was it hard to keep links and bends from forming I can see it kinda making tying off easy but I would think by the nature of the wire wanting to twist & kink up must have been a issue Wrapping two individual cabs for the same piece is very impressive not to mention one piece of wire Nice job

It was a bit of a feat. This was more engineering than wire wrapping! LOL!
