Very nice pieces. That flame agate (which kind of reminds me of Paul Bunyan agate) gave me some inspiration. I have a few pieces that have me toying with the idea of leaving a raw edge (I originally got the idea from "live edge" woodwork), and I'm now convinced to try it. Just a quick question: did you leave the face flat, or give it a slight dome?

I don't have any time this morning, but I'll be back later to enjoy these showstoppers! Wow!

So, it is polished. It didn't need a dome on top, but it had one.

One day, when I have some spare cash laying around , I'd like to get full set of grits as disks for my Genie, then I could do something like that flat, and also face polish specimens (like T-eggs).

Jeez, Tela, so nice! So apparently you were born with the talent for wrapping...

Tela - thanks for posting all this eye candy! As far as the actual minerals, the leoprdskin jasper is for some reason really standing out to me...as far as the wraps, they are all so stunningly beautiful. What an amazing talent you've honed!

Wow. My favorites are the amethyst, and the chrysocolla & topaz. They're all beautiful!

Wow! I was MIA for a while and missed this post among others. I am sure glad that someone bumped the thread.
These are unbelievable. I am never going to get this good with my wraps. I might as well quit now. Hehe. I was going to mention my favorite and then the next one would jump up and be my new favorite.
If pushed then I like the 2 stone that you did in the dark color for a contest (mentioned above). But all of them are stunning. I don't want to stare too long at any of them because I might try to imitate one some time.
I don't know where you get the imagination for these pieces.

Yes, some of these are definitely imagination driven.

Ooo I love the designs! I'd love to try one similar to the open style turquoise you did. I have just the stone for it too. I need to get practicing. I'm awful at wire wrapping. 😄
