@rocks2dust Looking at Calder's work reminded me of this pin I did a very long time ago called "Bjork". I actually had this in an art show along with a few others. The group was out of Williamsburg, NJ (An art mecca) called Art of the Imagination. I'm not sure if they are still around.

Cool! I knew Calder for his sculptures but didn't realize he made jewelry as well.

You are an artist for sure. I've done a few wraps that I thought were crap and they sold right away. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I'm still trying to get up the courage to try different things and unfortunately my hands are getting worse as far as osteoarthritis so I may not have long before I have to give up wire wrapping.

I actually like that second cameo wrap. I like the last pic too -- very space-agey. The pink oblong stone with the smaller round ones on the sides made me laugh out loud, as did the first one with the waving wire arms.

I have arthritis all over my body, but believe it or not, my hands are probably the least affected. I get it a little bit, but not too much. I have that damn psoriasis on my hands and THAT does put me down sometimes.

Getting old ain't for sissies, that's for sure.

I don't see any of those as stinkers. I like the use of extra wire outside the frame of the stone to accentuate the beauty of the stone itself. That is a fantastic collection, and it shows just what kind of imagination that you have. None of them are ruined. 20 years ago many of these were probably considered ground breaking and very much in style as well.
I am not afraid to try anything when it comes to pendants. Every one is an experiment.
