My body says rest, so I did a little trim saw work. Clam shell fossil stone, Royal Flamingo, Biggs.

I did a double-take and put on my reading glasses. I first thought the T looked like a miner's pick before realizing it was drawn. Sometimes I see what I want to see. These will be nice cabs

I get distracted sometimes and don't want to grind the wrong side. I started marking the preform tops with a wide sharpie and the bottoms with a extra fine sharpie. I was using pencil but it washes off too easily. The triangle was photographed upside down. I bought a lot of Biggs rough from Tony and want to see how it finishes. The finished cab usually has more contrast than the slab.

The clam shell cuts like rhodochrosite. Start at 220 hard and the preform line kept getting covered with mud. I am dopping it to work on it tomorrow.

The clam fossil material looks really cool.

I concur on the looks of the clam shell. Pretty neat material!
