I think that's great. How are you fastening it to the lever?

I think that's great. How are you fastening it to the lever? The nut on the bottom of the stem just threads on to the tap valve stem, all of them that I have seen are 3/8 16 thread.

Pretty cool! I suppose this now gives a new meaning when someone asks for their drink "on the rocks"!

Hopefully no one is having beer on the rocks 🤢 This brewery does it right, no ice, no frosted glasses, just proper beer. Should you ever make it out to Guam, I would highly recommend stopping in for a pint or two and lunch.

Very cool. Looks very comfortable to use. Are the tap handles you make related to individual beers in some way?

Thanks, functionality is always one of my primary drivers when I make something like this. I figure that if it is uncomfortable or difficult to use, it will just get put on a shelf, and then it ceases to be what it was intended to be. In general, I let the brewer or bartender decide where it should go. The only one I really had any preconceived notion for its use was the creamy yellow jade nodule, it just made me think of ginger ale as soon as i saw it on the ground outside Baggs Wyoming.

Thanks. I work almost full time in a small, long time brewery. Am also a part owner.
Functionality is important, as is appearance. We just have custom designed wooden handles with several layers of lacquer. They work great, but are a little boring. All handles are the same shape, but different colors. 40 total taps in the brew house.

Should you ever make it out to Guam, I would highly recommend stopping in for a pint or two and lunch. That reminds me of a sign I saw once: We serve our beers at 50-60 degrees. To anyone who thinks this is “warm,” we invite you to take a bath in water that temperature. It was ales, stouts, etc., so that temperature range was ideal.

What brewery? So I can know where to go if I'm ever in town. O'so in Plover, WI. Well then, I supported you by drinking a 4 pack of the Hop Debauchery this weekend …yummy! I also got to go pick some Fluorite, so I incorporated two hobbies this weekend...

Thank you. Did you get it in Madison or Plover? Or elsewhere? Just curious.

Cool stuff. Yes, that has a beautiful. natural surface that will be nicely enhanced by the skin oils of those working the tap. Nice find.
