Awesome cabs. Thank you for sharing and I’m glad you finally found time to get back to the grind! Thanks! I shouldn't stay away so long. It really does me good to cab.

Natural daylight would really show it actually any lighting will but a bright sunny day kicks you who

Wow! Great work. Love the wood, the Montana... and that Owyhee is something else... very different than what I usually see. Interestingly, I have a slab that is similar to your material possibly from Graveyard Point. Mine is said to be from Big Bend (Rio Grande?). I wonder if one of our sources is mistaken, or if it's one of those things where far-apart places produce similar looking stuff. Welcome back to cabbing. Bet it feels good. I know I was quite happy after a long break, not of my choosing. Ah, Life. What happens while I'm busy making other plans... With rocks- who knows. The first one of those I cabbed- a long time a go- I called a Graveyard Point Agate, which it is. But, it is NOT what people think of when they hear that. It seemed misleading.
Yes, it does feel good. With all the deaths I've been dealing with ad DH surviving the Covid- it's fun to just play and not have to stress about something.

Nice job! Now if can find even half the motivation and energy you've shown it would be great improvement for me BTW, did the magnaprase come from me? Looks identical to my magnesite from New Idria forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/1047739/thread

I have a bunch of different kinds of magnesite, but only one magnaprase.

Great bunch of cabs, Tela! They are all beautiful, but that Berber is killer.

Loved looking at those cabs Tela! I'm a sucker for agates, so the Graveyard Point really stood out to me...of course, maybe it's also the month we're in that made it stand out!

Great cabs, Tela!!! Glad to see more of your work! A great group and that Berber is killer but lastest is bestest. Great montana is hard to beat. That maggot aggot is also called red palm root for marketing reasons because nobody wants to buy maggots, but I think it's been identified more accurately as Caddis Fly Larvae agate. That Graveyard point certainly could be graveyard point. There's so much variety in that material. Lately I've been chasing a gold plume in sky blue agate from there, but no material available right now. A small piece separated from the rest certainly makes it look like Texas agate, but small pieces are often deceptive. Great cabs as always!!

Yes, Caddis Fly Larvae is what I was looking for. That Texas plume may be from elsewhere. I'm not sure I ever had a label. The Graveyard Point has gone off to a new owner already. Someone has good taste.
