Malachite is one of my favorites! I know I've said it before in another post, but I have a pool cue that is full of malachite inlays. Love it and love those cabs!

Wow! Way cool! I’ve never heard of chatoyant malachite.
Great job.
Chatoyance is pretty hard to capture in photos. Videos are probably better at showing “movement.” I haven’t tried it myself, but it makes sense.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I really feel that I lucked out with this little slab, chemistry and time can really produce some amazing results.

That is a striking piece! I have found many Malachite chunks from tailing piles outside Copper mines here in Southern Nevada. But never anything which approaches the beauty of the one which you have acquired!
