Good luck everyone. I'm kinda with Tela this month. I haven't voted yet, but looking at the group photo, one particular cab jumps out at me just due to the material. I need to look at all the individual pics for a final decision, but I can sense I'm already leaning towards one. Another month with 14 great cabs from which to pick a "top" winner... because they're all winners in my book! Fantastic job on the cabs this month from all you guys and gals.

Kicking this back to the top so it doesn't get lost. I love that it's a super tight neck and neck race this time among several super deserving creations from an entire field of beautiful stones. Interesting and awesome fact is that as the contest has grown we are getting a lot more voters as well. At 43 voters we're already ahead of many of the other months this year and we still have four days to go including today. All - if you haven't voted yet get busy with it! BTW, if anyone is looking for the December contest it is on the way - hopefully today! Entirely my fault just ran into a super busy patch and the 1st has magically turned into the 4th.

The problem is I want to know what the name of 8 and 14 are. Does someone out there have any guesses?

#8 looks like some of the Texas Big Bend moss from ranches near the park.

Congratulations EricD! Your gorgeous thunderegg moss agate cabochon has won the contest and rightfully so. In a crowded field of beautiful cabochons your piece has it all including a gorgeous dome and girdle which I know from experience on that material is not easy to accomplish.
