I too was bored today, it is 100 degrees out. To hot to play around the pond, garden or even the Jaguar, if you can you beleive that! So this morning I took a few, and I know how everyone likes pictures. More candy dish stuff: Here is some stuff that has been in 46/70 for 3 weeks, mostly, "lakers", with a sodalite, a porcelain jasper, mex. lace. Here is my first attempt at anything jewerly, don't laugh. Now I thought I would throw these 2 in, I was looking at what was doing ok in the garden,

I was wondering about that, too. And in the second pic, that black stone with the tan stripe, turn the long angle to the top and put a bell cap on it. That would be awesome! The sunflower almost looks surreal. It's all really beautimus, thanks for the eye candy cookie

That would be 3.5" long, just long enough to fit in the barrel. I have a bunch of long pieces like that from diff. slabs. Maybe someday it will come to me with what to do with them.

Oooooooo I can't stand it, you're killimg me earthdog!!! I've got to find something to sell so I can get a saw! Maybe my hubby ... nah, he's a keeper *smile*. You are getting so good at this, great shapes, getting an awesome shine and coming up with that unique idea for the jewelry. Pretty talented with the camera too. Now I know it's not a sunflower, a galardia daisy maybe? Something in the daisy family anyway. That pic is really cool, you could enter it in a photo contest. I'm not kidding, it's really a nice pic. Nice looking veggie, I've never eaten eggplant so have no idea what you do with them or what they taste like. Awesome pics earthdog, enjoyed them immensely. Thank you!

eggplant parmisan, stuffed eggplant, fried eggplant - yum! and you'd already made me hungry with the 1st pics. i don't have any eggplant so i'm going to the sonic after i've dried off. i sprayed round-up and am absolutely soaked - hair and all - like i've been swimming. i'm ready for fall!

Cool Pics on a hot summer day. You are right, it's way too hot today to do anything outside. I wanted to work on my flower gardens, but not in the blinding hot 100 degree weather here in the midwest. Now we have a severe thunderstorm in the area. Hopefully it cools off! Nice sunflower pic. What kind of sunflower is it? Reminds me of van go (sp) sunflowers.

Edog those look really, really good. What is that yellow stone in the third pic? I like it a lot. Are the ones in the top pic as big as they look?(Ok, they look big to me) My garden isn't doing well this year, too hot, can't keep enough water on it. Your eggplant looks good, but not as good as those rocks!! Joe
