There are some severe stunners in there! Wowza! I just picked up two slaps of crinoidal limestone and think I spent a good 30 minutes looking it over and then glancing at it while watching The Voice last night. So, pics 9/10 jumped out at me!

You have certainly found some interesting stones. Tumbling many of them to a smooth polished shine however is going to take some special technique. Luckily there are some fantastic turorials on the RTH for doing so.
Thanks for sharing these great photos!

Thanks These are far from how they started. I'll have to find some others to show the general "before" as they are not lake tumbled, just out of the ground. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the general smoothness on a lot of them. Not expecting to shiny polish much of them. I have had smaller barrels of petoskeys lose half their volume in a week. I checked these after 3 days and saw little change then got busy and left them go another week or two and this was the result.

There are some really beautiful pieces in that lot. Great work on them so far!

We like that material a lot, very different than here in Oregon. Thanks for the show.

Nice! Its fun finding whats hidden under the outer weathered crust. I got a few milkcrates full of similar stuff around here that I occasionally cut open or tumble.

I can't wait to see them tumbled up. One of the rocks that looked like a bread loaf looks like it might be a big agate. It looks like it might make a nice face polished specimen.
