So are you using a specific type of epoxy for the wire and stones, cause I'm gonna steal that idea Great fun, learn something new every day on this board. Now, Dawg, go for the matching earings! cookie

A little trick. Cut off pliers leave either a V, or a flat. If a V is left on both ends, file the top side of the cut off pliers. This will give you both, a flat, and a V. Use the flat against the starting wire when making loops and swirls. In some designs, that makes the difference between good, and great. There is good symmetry in those wire pieces, I would deeply consider doing them in sterling at this point, or gold filled. Looking good.

little hint for some killer results,,, flatten the coil slightly with a hammer on a anvil,, you get this great result i do it in brass for my hair pins, works in copper just as well. also it leaves a flat surface for epoxy to get a bite on.

We plan on getting some flush cutters, the wife says we need tools. Gotta love that! Can you call "super glue" epoxy? Well thats what I used. Wife wants to try the pounded copper look next time. Thanks for the tips.

ED - these are very original. Did you drill holes in the stones first, then pass the wire through? This would hold them in place, then you could do your swirly thing on either side, better than glue, I'd say - I'd wear one (hint, hint...). I'm gonna have to get some copper wire - it looks great with the red rock. Susan

I love them - specially the white stone. If you're planning on doing more, I'd definately get the flush cutters.
