Can anyone help me identify the type of rock this cab was made from. I especially like the orange/yellow mineral pattern at the bottom of the cab. It has at least a hardness of 7. Bottom of the rock showing the yellow nodules. End of the rock I sliced and the resulting cabbed. Note the cavity. Showing yellow banding

Looks like a lot of the Mexican Lace I just sent out. A lot of it was orange. Very pretty. Most all of my pretty orange is gone but I'm gonna make some cabs out of what I kept. Trish

Trish, I hope you sent some orange in my box - you should have gotten your payment yeaterday! S I'm sure I got some orange in there, but maybe not much. That was the first to go. I sold around 120 lbs. of it and most of what I have left has a lot of white in it but has great patterns. I made sure I got some color in each box. Hope you like it! Trish

I just cut some yesterday (sorry no pix when cutting- then the power went out in the evening) And I'll tell you Trish the rock is so incredible!! I was able to slice the Lace so thin (I think it was like 1/4") and it held together wonderfully (that is the thinnest slice I've ever made with the tile saw!) and The Opalized Pet- WOW Any way- the orange color in the lace is incredible! Oops sorry didn't mean to Hyjack
