I probably produce 10 times as many cabs as I post here. Too many things to do, not enough time. Here's some of my recent production. I may have posted 1 or 2 previously -- can't keep track. Hope you enjoy them and thanks for looking! Nevada Variscite This material was mined by a friend 40 years ago from a spot just yards from the famous No. 8 turquoise mine. I'm cutting a few new cabs for stock. Rainforest Jasper, Australia Willow Creek Willow Creek Laguna Agate I cut this for a recent cab contest but entered a different stone
Imperial “Yellow” Sodalite That's the name given to sodalite with these yellow-orange inclusions. Don't know what mineral they are Namibian Shattuckite I scored a little of this wonderful material. I love it1 Rhodochrosite Tongue

Beautiful cabs! I was going to pick the Variscite as my favorite and then I hit that Sodalite and Shattuckite at the end and now I can't decide. They're all wonderful.

Beautiful cabs, Rick. I think that the orange inclusions in sodalite are calcite.

Nice work. I can’t pick a favorite, but that unusual rainforest jasper is pretty cool. You don’t often see it with that much agate. The imperial and rhodochrosite really pop too. The Shattuckite looks like frozen lightning. Cool stuff.

It's wonderful that you have been able to secure such beautiful material to cab with. I know what you mean, as I have hundreds of cabs that will never make it to light. Mostly because it is very calming for me to stand there for hours at the grinder working away!
My favorite is the Rhodochrosite tongue. I think that Mick Jagger might be interested in that one!
