Good day!
It has been so hot in my garage during the Summer this year in the Desert Southwest that I shut down all forms of rock hobby which involved the garage (slabbing, cabbing and tumbling). Luckily I stockpiled a massive collection of mediocre stones of all varieties prior to the shut down, and with the lock down have been very busy wrapping. But I need to catch up so descriptions of stones will be sparse here. Thank you for understanding.
P130 - Columbia Green Chert Beads (Front) - Some stones are deliberately wrapped so that they can be displayed front or back interchangeably. Here is one example:
Here is the back. The green crystals are Swarovski which are expensive for beads, but on sale.
P131 - Lavic Red Jasper - a very chubby chunk of Lavic, which is held in place mainly by the tight wrap. Chubby is difficult for me.
P132 - Variscite Copper Tear - some of my darker green Variscite has matrix in it. This one was stabilized, although it might not have needed it.
P133 - Anniversary Agate Large - this Agate is from a small batch of rocks which was some of the very first I ever picked up. Getting the top symmetrical was challenging and I wore off the coating on the wire. I like the rock though.
P134 - Dioptase Triangle Leaf - is a small guy about the height of a quarter. There appears to be some Chrysocolla in there too. I was told the dark brown is Cuprite.
P135 - Chrysocolla Dioptase Earth - is a rock that reminds me of our planet when I look at it.
P136 - Holt Canyon Mustard Shield - is a tall 2" stone which has its back side as mostly dark brown. It appears that the color bled right through to the front (to me). My wife said "..ew! it's cracked!". It actually isnt, Honey ... sheesh! critics!
P137 - Chrysocolla Swirl Oval - I like the swirl patterns at the top. But the bottom was blah. So i tried to give it some movement too.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by!

More imaginative wraps. I really like them. Even though that wire got stripped, I like P133 best.

Very kind of you to say so, rockjunquie. Maybe if I keep the top polished it won't be that noticeable. I am too lazy to re-do it.
