Here is my latest batch - It's another batch mixed stuff, I don,t think I've had a complete batch of one thing yet - but there's still hope. But this one has some pink petrified wood in it - it,s amazing. The pic is in full son and the shine seems a little duller in the pic - some seem to have gotten dinged at some point - oh well! Here's my whole batch: My self collected quartz - smoky, rose & clear quartz: Some of the quartz is crystal clear - & almost gem quality - could these be faceted? Here is some feldspath - not sure what happened to the "flash" of the stone it seems gone once tumbled... Some picture jasper & other jaspers (I think) once again the shine looks dull inthe pics Here is the pink pet wood along with other pet woods Here are my favorites from this batch, a little of everything, green moss agate, nicely shaped feldspath, pet wood, brazilian agates, yummy mexican lace, green tree agate & some quartz Thanks for looking

Looks good to me. I have the same problem with taking pictures, and looking duller. Is that a word?

Love the pink pet wood, the agates, the tree agate, the crazy lace, the... Hell, guess I love 'em all! You get that Quartz locally? Nice stuff. I would think some of that is definately facetable. Ask Doc, he can facet just about anything. Good job!

Nice large batch. Is that large rectangle in the first photo upper right group a piece of pet wood? They all look good. Joe

Hey everyone, thanks for the compliments, Joe: The pink rectangle in the upper right IS a piece of pink pet wood - it's really amazing - most of them broke off as squares or rectangles Stoner: Feldspath is feldspar isn't it? Yeah it's the same stuff, mine is kinda gray/brown, but I do have a batch of orangy that is taking forever to shape up - I'm hoping to catch some of that flash on my next batch Cher: the pet wood is from a canadian supplier $2.75/lb, PM me if you want his number (Alice this is from THE guy) Rocky: I love the new avatar! Cookie: the quartz I got from around here on a collection expedition with my club- those semi-gems were the last stuff I picked up before leaving - they are very clear & really nice
