Here are a couple we picked up this weekend. If I wait until Thursday to post them, I'll forget. If anyone has a clue about where they might have come from, I'd be interested. I saw this come up and really wish it was Thursday lol. The second one looks an awful lot like a Mexican geode to me. I could be wrong so don't quote me lol. -Nicholas

I don't think that one's Mexican, but who knows? I'm not well versed in the thunderegg world.

I never seem to manage to remember to post to this thread on Thursdays so here I go! Unknown, but I like the dendrites. And there is a little pocket of druze as a bonus: IMG_1353 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr Richardson Ranch, I presume: IMG_1349 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr Unknown. Sorry the pic is blurry. I like the tan colored crystals in the center: IMG_1247 by Shiny Objects, on Flickr Another unknown. I like the flame look to the crystalized middle and the fortifications. Don't know if these qualify as thundereggs for this thread. If not I'll post more over in a separate thread in the "Rock Specimems" forum. I've had 2 buckets of nondescript 1 to 2 inch sized rocks taking up space in my shed for years. Last year, I finally decided to cut some of them open to see if they were earning their keep in the shed. One bucket isn't labeled and the other says "Baha agates" I assume "Baja" Mexico or maybe "Bahia" Brazil. I finally finished polishing them this spring. Anyway, I think these guys have earned there keep! If anyone has info on them I'd love to hear it. herb these are all wonderful! Especially that second group. They're beautiful and I think most definitely were worth their keep in the shed.
