Hey Y'all,
In between days of thunderstorms, work and kitchen redo nightmares, I managed to snap a few pictures of some of the pet wood that Pho and I collected up at his place a few weeks ago. This was kind of a rushed photo session and it shows: not many pics, not many closeups/detail shots, and not the whole bunch o' rocks. I'm still pretty new on the camera and software. Still, they should give you a sense of what Pho and I found.
I've only dropped a couple small pieces in a tumbler so far. Thinking about dedicating a barrel to nothing but pet wood at some point, and have enough tumble-sized to do a couple loads. Of course, I'm still trying to get my first batch finished (in the polish now).
I will take more pics later, and will include the llanite and other fun rocks we found and that Pho generously shared.

Finally, I didn't get this one at Pho's place. I found it at the defunct nursery rockhunting trip the week before the pet wood adventure. It has been suggested to me that it is a clear topaz. Not sure how to polish it yet.
