Nice slabs. Great color in those. Its crazy the variety of colors you can get from out there. I have a few different piles of materials that my grandfather and myself have dug up over the years. Enjoy. You're killing me Smalls, you're killing me.

Enjoy. You're killing me Smalls, you're killing me. if you make it to Oregon, I’ll have to bring you by the house. Essentially the property is around a couple acres and it’s lined with stacks of rough rock or 55 gallon drums full of rough. Most all of it is oldstock from the first digs. There is stuff on the property I still haven’t found a name or location of. A lot of stuff I’ve dug and added to. The oldstock stuff was all my grandfathers doing.

I don’t want to say he was a hoarder, because everything was kept organized, but let’s just say he left me with more than just rocks to deal with. Not gonna lie, all the military vehicles sound freaking awesome. Any plans to restore, sell, etc?

I have 1 M151A1 left. Not restored so much as cleaned up and made functional. Got someone wanting to buy it.
I love the old WW2 military vehicles but it costs more to restore one than the owner could recover if they sold it. Gotta be done out of love.

realrockhound Nice pile of moss. Your Grandpa sounds like a great person. Appreciate it. He was a great guy. Wish he was still around. Your thread actually made me think of him as he was one of the originals to dig Maury when heavy equipment was still allowed.
