This is a batch I sent back to 600 for a week and then 120-220 for 3 days, tripoli for 3 days, CO for 3 days with burnishes in between. (I'ver come to really appreciate a good 24 hr. burnish) Half Dother half These are the pieces that, though very pretty, not jewlery worthy (too big or not well shaped) with 2 pieces of local quartz that have been running for a loooong time. cookie

these make me anxious to see what the wood I have in now will be like when I take it out..... very nice ! wish they had been on a white background instead of yellow.... seems the yellow is reflecting a lot and the pretty colors aren't showing well..... the colors in the bowl really show the variation in the wood..... I have some red and black in with mine now that I hope turn out well..... donna

Nice Batch- Love the Wood- I hope your recipe was incorrect- 600 then 120/220??? I'm sure it was the other way around (or is this a new secret recipe for a SUPER SHINE lol)

Nice batch cookie, but is it just me or do both halves of your load look the same? Me thinks it's the same picture Looking forward to see what you'll do with them! Yummy batch!

Now ain't that some pretty pet wood? ...those lines and colors....Mother Nature sure did a job on those.. Donna...yours will turn out real good too. That area should turn out some very nice pet wood. I am working on getting into the Navasota River bottom aras and look around a bit for some wood.

Hi Cookie , Nice wood you got there. which one is the half and the dother half??
Oh yeah , new way of polishing too , well documented and all . may try that too one day 600..120..24 hour burnish..you should make that 3 days I think, will improve the looks and all.
Great rocks
