Those all are nice the first two are really nice The first one filling the hole with a pearl is a very cool idea A light to medium golden color or maybe a lighter tone peach color may work nicely have fun getting it to fit it’s probably going to take some work get it to fit right but in the end well worth it Jason, pearls are usually set on a post. A hole is drilled in the pearl and then glued on to the post. Don't know whether that is what Gary was thinking, but it's what popped into my head when he mentioned setting a pearl in the hole. I don't have any decent pearls, but here's a mock-up with what would be an 8 mm freshwater pearl. I like it. I think that the post would need to be anchored in the cab as opposed to a post on a bezel-setting backplate.
I like that! Again, I was picturing something WAY different. I was picturing a pearl that was the size of the whole hole. LOL If you made it like your mockup, I think it would look exquisite!
