Trying real hard not to turn the Wire Wrapping forum at the RTH in to a dumping grounds for my latest work, I still have a bunch of old stuff to post. But I will offer these up as a stark contrast to those who post here and actually have great material and wire wrapping skills.
Please note that I cannot put in to practice some of the great suggestions made by others in Batch #19 just yet, as these pendants were churned out a couple of months ago.
P162 - Lavic Jasper Cross - I came back to the cross design to cover a bland area in this light brown (yellow) stone. I think that it is a little over the top, but my wife wore it, so that is never a bad sign.
P163 - Chrysocolla Moon Rocket - I don't know why I did this. There does seem to be a space theme going on here. It could look like a 4 legged alien?!? Ok, maybe a handicapped alien. There also seems to me to be a 'man in the moon' kind of face on the side of the space ship also. I think I was watching the Space-X launch when I made this one.
P164 - Perkins Agate Tear - Actually this is North Cady Jasper Agate. Not Perkinsville. I saw a wire wrap design that my wife showed me and tried to mimic the wrap here. Don't think I pulled it off well, but it is different however.
P165 - Dioptase Medicine Wheel A.K.A Coronavirus - OK, this boring little guy was sitting there, and I thought it looked like it had an Indian medicine wheel in it. So I tried to give it a tribal look. Afterwards my wife said that it looked like Covid-19 virus. I think she is right.
P166 - Baby Broken Heart Agate - No girdle at all, and not symmetrical either, somehow I managed to get the wire around this slippery little guy. These little ones are the most difficult for me.
P167 - Small Copper Mine Bead Top - More Copper mine stuff. I started to experiment with putting beads at each axis on top. There would be more to follow like this one.
P168 - Boulder Jasper Lava Garden - This was a chip that came off of a large Jasper boulder when I hit it with a sledge. I have a few of these chunks, and this is a very small piece which does not have a girdle. In my opinion this color looks better in Silver wire, not gold. I think the pattern reminds me of lava fire.
P169 - Dioptase Jade-Like - More Dioptase. But this is the only one that I have found like this. It almost appears Jade-like in my opinion. The stone is no where near the quality of good Jade, but it might fool someone looking at it. I don't know why I grind odd freeform shapes like this.
That is about it for now.
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! All input or critique on how any of them could be better is always appreciated!

I can always confidently hit the like button when I see one of these posts of yours, without even seeing the pics first. That's a good sign!

I like all. The little green pregnant alien (last one) is darling. Thanks!

I'm in no way qualified to be a critic in these matters...but I'm a fan! I actually think my favorite among the batch is the Dioptase Medicine Wheel...whether it's infected or not!

I really like the embellishment beads. They take the pendants to another level. The rocket is very cool and I like the bottom of the medicine wheel a lot.

I like them all, actually. I think the one you were copying came out really nice.
The Boulder Jasper Lava Garden is an awesome stone and I agree that it would look better in silver. I think you use craft wire, correct? It's so "yellowish" that it really distracts from the stones. I think copper wire would be a way better choice for you instead of the "gold" craft wire. JMHO.

I really look forward to seeing what unique wrap you'll be showing off. I don't have a favorite- I like them all.

Yes, I mostly use only the cheap craft wires (Beadalon (Artistic Wire) and Parawire). I have maybe 50 rolls now of the cheap stuff. I still consider myself in the learning phase. So I go through a lot of wire attempting different stuff. I might have 5 or 6 different "gold"s. I think Copper is a better color for wrapping also. I have about 5-6 varieties of it also. I use less Gold than I used to. I appreciate your input!

Thank you all for the nice comments above! I guess I will post another batch today if I have time. It might all run together after a while, but this is my only creative outlet for my artistic attempts! I sometimes kind of feel like that guy that stands on a soapbox in public areas who spouts his political opinions to the masses, whether they like it or not. Mike! ( miket) Where are your latest wire wrapping creations!?! Don't leave me all alone here, man!

The only thing better than the work is your descriptions of the pieces I love the addition of beads, it gives the pendants their own unique flair. Beautiful job.

Sorry, sir, between being super busy and having company for the last few weeks I haven't had much time to wrap. Don't worry, I'll get back to it soon! π

I appreciate the positive comments on the written descriptions. I just seem to always write (talk) too much. All kinds of stuff comes out usually. But I often try to do less documentation so that I don't put people to sleep. It is still nice to know though, and so I will be likely more active in my writing on future batches! Thank you again!

You know, this isn't like a certain adult magazine where all that's cared about are the pictures...some of us like to read the articles too! Don't worry, we want the descriptions and no one will say you're being a:

Soo .. I'm not the only one who reads the articles. Interesting. Good point and excellent use of a metaphor!
