I finally got a batch done which I think is nice enuff to show off. jaspers and agates all; comes from several places around Central NM. (Los Lunas, Rio Puerco, quarry in Placitas, lava beds on North side of Valles Caldera, Rio Arriba Co.,and Abiqui Lake.

Most of the batch in 1st pic.

Two large pieces in Upper Left center are Jemez jasper.

I will post some Fire agates next. Thanks for looking!

Those are some very pretty stones you have. I will be going to Colorado rockhunting. I am really excited as I have been there before but never to find rocks.

KD, Cookie: my recipe: 3-5 weeks in 60/90, 1-2 weeks in 120/220, 1 week in 500, and 1 week in Tin Oxide.
