After my last disaster (following instructions for a "traditional" cab), I decided to try this again my way *disaster awaits* I once again used craft wire as I can't get the hang of the half round wire for binding (I can't get it to lay side by side nicely). I'm not sure what the stone is either, but I like it A-Lot! i really need to graduate to better wire - I find sterling silver doesn't have much shine once it,s worked Here's the front Here's the back (yes that's a hole) - kinda looks like a screaming mouth from the side! If anyone can give me tips with the half round wire, it'd be much appreciated - I think I need wire thats wider than high Thanks for looking

Nice wrap tweetie! Sorry, can't help you with your wire.
Stone looks like local quartz? or agate?

Looks an whole lot like my first wraps, as a matter of fact, it is better than a lot of my first ones. You will get the hang of it. It just takes time.

Tweety, you're learning and it shows, that one is really nice. I'll drop you a note tomorrow with what I can tell you about using the half-round. It's really not hard to work with once you get it started.

tweetie i bought some "connoisseurs jewelry wipes" from jewelry supply that i use to clean my wraps. it cleans silver, gold, gemstones, and costume jewelry. it has a pop up top and you pull out a small dry disposable wipe.
your wrap looks good. keep at it!

I think it looks great. I have been trying my hand at wrapping and yours are gorgeous compared to anything I have done. I like the back - very neat. Mine look like a wire scrap heap.

Tweetie I think your wrap looks great. The fact that BOTH sides look good is cool. I can only get one side to look decent. Congrats. Joe
