These two cabs are from one slab of old stock mexican lace. How many would have guessed that? Actually all of these came from one slab Have to show the slab for prove I suppose. Color changed from whites and grays to reds and oranges along a fault line Thanks for looking Chuck

Every once in awhile I tip the laptop toward my wife for her to see something special...I had to do that for this thread! Fascinating that the slab allowed the two different colored cabs. Thanks for showing the slab they all came from. They're all beautiful, but that top one on the right is the bomb!

Thanks Jason. Good eye. That one at top right was the money cab. The rest were just made to use up the slab.

All five are spectacular. It is amazing how fast that stuff can change in the space of a few inches.

Very nice material! I think I like the lower right pattern and the red one best

These are pretty unbelievable results from your stock. I would have never guessed. I think that you made the best of that slab that you could have possibly done.
As usual, each of the cabs is finished to the highest degree. You have some high standards, Chuck.
Most of my best stock looks like the top part of the slab here, where there are no swirls or colors to speak of.
