Hey guys, I work with an older guy who purchased a house a long time ago, and with it came with some awesome rocks and minerals from all over, from the previous owners. The new owner of the collection hasn't done much of anything with any of them in the 15 years he's lived there. So I'm trying to purchase the whole collection. Anyways, he said I'm able to go over to his place and take a bunch. But he wants me to cut and polish some of each of the different kinds of stones, and then get it all wire wrapped by my partner as a trade. Done deal I said! But I would also like to offer him a fair price to buy the rest. He doesn't live close, it's a 75 minute ferry ride away, plus driving on either side, so I can't just burn over and take my own photos. He was also hoping I could tell him the names of some of the stones. Other than the local dallasite and Flowerstone, and the Tigers eye, I don't know the names of any of the others. I think there is some ocean jasper, or some kind of jasper. Looks like a chunk of jade or something similar. Another looks like chert. And some geodes and some agates. Anyways, I was hoping for some help IDing unfortunately, I don't know any information about any of the pieces. Thanks so much

Not that I'd be a great help with any of the IDs, but none of your pictures that it looks like you tried to attach are showing up...at least not for me on my laptop...

Hey, thanks so much for the heads up! I'm pretty new to posting here, I'll try again in the morning. I likely posted too many photos as well

Agreed, but it's not tiger eye, it's tiger iron.

Image one is bloodstone, Image 4 is a nice thick tigereye, Image 2 is not good enough, Image 3 is Tigeriron in front (maybe a slab of tigereye on right) and leopardskin in back.

On picture no. 4 I see giant tiger-eye. On picture no. 2 "buble stone" looks like slag, and others like carbonized fossil? I'm not sure, but it looks black fragments looks like coal. On picture no. 1 it's probably jasper but idk what kind of jasper.
