Too cold to grind so I did some preforms.

Yikes! I love the cool wavy looking ones (far upper right, and middle lower). I like all Jasper though so I am a sucker for this material you have.

I keep finding this material very similar to the clam "chowda". The stuff I'm finding is in a gray (maybe limestone) matrix. I'm tempted to slab one of these to see if I can cab any of it. It doesn't seem to be as full of clams like the material you've got, but I'm curious to see how it works out... I guess that was a long-winded way to say I'm still loving the clam chowder stone.

The limestone is heat treated by the seller to change the color. I would like to find some gray with a lot of clam shells. I've only had one grayish piece.

If I can get some good slabs out of what I collected, I'll definitely send you some if you want.

Morgan Hill, Blue Dream. Biggs made from the same material as the cabs the customer bought. I don't like making earrings; matching the shape, dome and pattern and pattern changes when grinding. I wish my cutting ability was better, but the customer is satisfied and I sell these cheap.
