Finished this one today, not 100% satisfied with it. Like most of my bails it's a little messy. Overall, I don't hate it but I have lots of room for improvement. Thanks for looking.

I'm not sure what's NOT to like about this one! You had a nice little cache of this Cotton Candy Agate. I think this is another beautiful cab and wrap by you!  |

I think it looks great, miket! The binding wires are gently smooshed and I don't think the bail is too messy. Actually the front looks like a rose. You just have that one inside wire on the right that's a little taller than the rest.
You could try separating the wires on both sides just a tad and see if that doesn't help a little. The only thing I wish you would have done is followed the bottom of the cab better with the wire. Other than that little critique, it's a really nice wrap. Love that stone, too!

Thanks, Robin! I saw that on the bottom, too. The half hard wire is a bit different than the dead soft to work with for me. Maybe some more smooshing is in order... 🙂 |

Oh man, I miss all the fun.... This reminds me of a teacher at my high school who once opined that, “I’ve noticed that young boys wear a lot of shirts, and young girls wear a lot of long skirts. Then, as they get older, girls skirts go up, and boys’ pants go down.” He looked quite perplexed when the class erupted in laughter. Oh, yeah... by the way, nice cab and wrap, miket. You have got this nailed down now! The bail?!? .. fits the rest of the wrap perfectly! (IMHO).
I am noticing the use of the half round wire. You know I have one roll of 1/2 round and honestly I don't have any examples where I finished the wrap completely. I keep bending the wire and twisting it upside down. Maybe I need to use dead-soft.
But I like the 1/2 round especially on this one. I think it looks like a rose at the top, by the bail. Pretty cool looking actually. I think that I might try that some time too.
I would be afraid to change anything about this one, without ruining something. Just me.
