Ahh I worked the grinder this week- Some cabs that I tried to finish- I'm pretty pleased with the lace (bottom ones) they took a pretty good shine- the top first one is some Opalized Arkie Wood- just won't hold a polish like I want it to- then a chunk of Texas wood- Kinda pourous and dull, then some copralite with some minor scratching still, then a nice piece of Brazilian Agate that also won't lose the scratches- I think I'm losing it at the 600 stage- I may have to get some new belts-

Yep, needs some work. Very interesting stones, cool shapes and patterns. Especially like the bottom center.

I'm with Toad, I like the bottom centre, and how you left the edge rough!

Very cool, first one that caught my eye was bottom center too. Nice job on all but I do like the lace the best.

Thankyou all- the bottom center did come out cool- it actually shows some parrelax(sp) and was a fun chunck to work- The lace is easy to work with and seems to like to take a polish- the other stuff well I'm at a loss as to how to shine it??? Guess I'm gonaa get some new belts and try again-
