New to the hobby

Hi all



My wife and I are retired and travel fulltime in our RV along with our dog Winston. We began collecting rocks from our travels, really not knowing a thing about what we were picking up. We just collected what rocks caught out eye, either the color or the shape of the rock.



Bought a small rock saw and began slicing a few of the rocks in our collection. I recently purchased a mini sonic vibratory tumbler. I joined the forum to learn the best practices of rock tumbling, rock collecting and rock carving.
